S+C 40:00 [1]

A bit of late night S+C after a day sat on the train.

Single leg squats
Side plank knee to chest
Reverse plank with leg lifts
Single leg glute bridges - 10kg
Single leg stand up
Split squats - 10kg
N.B. no Swiss ball exercises tonight; brought it back to Devon but need to dig it out and pump it back up...

Wednesday Oct 21 #

Road/Trail mix 1:33:28 [1] 20.14 km (4:38 / km) +23m 4:37 / km
shoes: Saucony fastwitch

80’ easy became a 90’ easy to complete the loop back to the house. All on the flat, out along the canal and back by the river. Nice comfortable pace; aware of the right glute from time to time and more so towards the end, again no huge discomfort though

Tuesday Oct 20 #

Road 1:07:45 [1] 14.07 km (4:49 / km) +69m 4:42 / km
shoes: Saucony fastwitch

60’ easy on the flat + strides

Much the same as last few runs; feeling fine keeping it easy on the flat but became slightly aware of that right glute area on the strides. Don’t think it’s doing any harm running on it though.
Slipped on something near the end and took a smack to the left arse cheek as I went over... no harm done!

Road/Trail mix 1:18:00 [1] 14.9 km (5:14 / km) +71m 5:07 / km
shoes: Saucony fastwitch

Out along the canal and back through town. Feeling a bit more stiffness than usual from S+C, mostly in the glutes and more so on the right side. Again seemed okay keeping it easy on the flat
