Out and back on some local trails. Still a lot of snow lying which made it feel a bit heavy going at times but nice to be off the roads. Strides to finish on a clear stretch of trail

Planned to head out along the canal like last week but conditions not great underfoot with slushy snow/ice so ended up sticking mostly to the roads which were clearer. Settled into a good rhythm, feeling comfortable enough. Strides to finish

8 x diagonals on the football pitch at halfway. A bit of snow lying on the pitch which didn't help but icy everywhere else so seemed a better option than SVs

Gentle run from the house, feeling a bit heavy going with the snow underfoot. It’s pretty icy and snowy everywhere just now after another fresh dumping of the white stuff today. Didn't risk it with strides

Out for a touch longer than planned. Not the best route in hindsight after severely underestimating the amount of fresh snow. Persevered but had to hike a chunk of the route due to the amount of snow before getting a good bit of running once I’d lost some elevation. In clear conditions I think I’d have got around the loop in 2hrs ish but out for 3 today
