Thursday Nov 30

Cycling (Mtb) 10:00 [3]
Ride from home to Apex Park with Trent for the first Twilight Street O of the year
Orienteering (Street O score event) 42:00 [4] 8.5 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Twilight Street O around Lake Albert. Took a bit to get used to running around the streets with a map (strange looks from the locals), but was feeling pretty good. Got 22/29 controls and 200 points, think I won by 35 points.
Cycling (Mtb) 10:00 [3]
Legs felt like jelly after the street o and was planning on an easy cycle home but Trent and Cam decided they wanted to race home (didnt they run hard enough??)

Wednesday Nov 29

Running hills 49:00 [4]
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Willans Hill run

Tuesday Nov 28

Running 59:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
The usual morning run
Cycling (Mtb) 40:00 [3]
A very windy cycle, but other than that it was good

Sunday Nov 26

Running warm up/down 16:00 [3]
shoes: Jalas - old
Decided Id better do a reasonable warm up today, legs were feeling a bit sore (probably had something to do with the midnight walk from Trents to my place last night??) and wasn't feeling too great after last night
Orienteering race 10:20 [4] 1.6 km (6:27 / km)
shoes: Jalas - old
End of year club random relays at Connorton, was odd numbers so I chose to run alone. Was a good little sprint around the bush, hadn't done any real bush o'ing in a while so was glad to have a clean run
Orienteering race 14:20 [4] 1.9 km (7:33 / km)
shoes: Jalas - old
Second leg of the relays.

Saturday Nov 25

Running long 1:30:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Morning long run, went before breakfast this week and felt a bit sluggish at the start. Forgot to take my ipod.
Running 31:30 [3] 4.7 km (6:42 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Hadn't planned on going to road runners, but Cam was keen so went and did the short with him. Was pretty warm and we walked a bit.

Friday Nov 24

Running 38:30 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Easy morning run around the lake with Dad

Thursday Nov 23

Running 59:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Standard morning run
Cycling (Mtb) 37:00 [3]
Rode over the hill to Glenfield, decided to check out our old house, thankfully hasn't changed in the year since we left (all the trees are still there). I seemed to have a head wind no matter which direction I was going, not happy.

Wednesday Nov 22

Running hills 49:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Hadn't tackled my Willans Hill run in a while and it showed, I struggled up the hills big time!! I was banking on the major sugar hit Id had before I left work to get me through but didnt go to plan!! (we introduced a lolly jar into the office 2day, filled with old favourites... sherbies, fantales, red skins.....)

Tuesday Nov 21

Running 59:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Decided against a repeat of yestie arvos hot run and got up in the morn instead (prob a good idea as it's already 36 degrees at 1pm). Standard run up to Mitchell Rd and home again.
Cycling (Mtb) 25:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Got home from work and Cameron was just about to go for a cycle, so decided to join him. Was a nice and easy ride, Cam's been sick since getting home from Canberra on the weekend, so the pace was just what I needed.

Monday Nov 20

Running 37:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Summer is here.... got up to 36 degrees in Wagga today (forecast for a tasty 41 on Sunday, our clubs Xmas random relays may be interesting), had cooled down a bit before I went for a run around the Lake, a bit of cloud cover at times helped, wish I hadn't complained so much about last weeks cold weather!!

Sunday Nov 19

Running long 1:30:00 [4]
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Morning (well 9.30) run, was strangly humid and had warmed up a fair bit by the time I got home. I guess I'll be going a lot earlier in the morning from now on, goodbye sunday sleepins :(

Saturday Nov 18

Running race 29:15 [4] 6.4 km (4:34 / km) vdot: 43.2
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Last road runners for the year, thankfully not as hot as last week. Was hoping to go under 30mins this week, and was very surprised with my time as it didn't feel like I was running that well.

Friday Nov 17

Running 35:00 [4]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Back home and was hanging out for a run around the Lake (living in town didnt provide too many enjoyable running routes, guess the weather didnt help).

Thursday Nov 16

Running 58:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Morning run, was so so cold and windy plus I only took summer running clothes to my Grans so I suffered, my hands still felt frozen by the time I got to work
Cycling (Mtb) 20:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Ride from in town out to the burbs. Main aim was to get my bike home. Managed to catch Mum (she did have a good 5 min start on me) cycling home from work.

Wednesday Nov 15

Running 30:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Had planned on doing an hour, but once the rain and hail started I was on my way home

Tuesday Nov 14

Running 1:02:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Decided to try out the Wiradjuri track today. Joined it at Flowerdale Lagoon which is looking surprisingly good at the moment, then went along some random dirt roads before going through the City Club golf course (keeping my eyes peeled for stray golf balls) and then straight up at back of Pomingalarna Hill, this part was rather painfull!! Enjoyed the downhills home!!
C • Love the colours 2

Monday Nov 13

Running 40:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Didnt really have anything in mind this arvo, just went for a run around Central Waggaish. Ended up running around the MTC, which took at lot longer than expected (only managed to find myself down one dead end lane way!) stopped off at the Duke of Kent Oval on my way home and did a few surges. Right Hamstring was feeling a bit tight at the start.

Sunday Nov 12

Orienteering race 35:33 [4] 5.6 km (6:21 / km)
shoes: Jalas - old
Local event at Pomingalarna. Was a pretty basic course (it's kinda hard to set anything harder than an Orange out there). Was happy with my navigating, no errors. It was actually raining which made it all the more enjoyable
Cycling (Mtb) 23:30 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Cylced home from Pommy, I'm house sitting at my Grans in town this week. Came back along the Wiradjuri walking track, was quite nice, will hopefully get a run along there later this week.

Spent 2 hours in the afternoon out at the Uni with Dad field checking for the map for the NSW Sprint Champs we're running next year, should be a good area for the event

Saturday Nov 11

Running race 30:33 [5] 6.4 km (4:46 / km) vdot: 41.1
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Road Runners at Wagga Beach/Nth Wagga. Not exactly the run I had been hoping for. Felt great for the first km or so, but then I just couldn't seem to breathe, not sure why, it was a tad humid down on the flood plain. Slowed down a fair bit mid-way and Dad caught me, he pulled me along for the rest of the run

Friday Nov 10

Running 39:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Easy morning run around Lake Albert with Dad

Thursday Nov 9

Running 58:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
standard morning run to Mitchell Rd and home. Lots of people our running and walking dogs today which was nice.
Hanging out for my sports massage this arvo :)
C • Keep up the consistent trainin... 1

Wednesday Nov 8

Running 57:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Hadn't planned on running today, but after an emotional morning, decided it would help.

Tuesday Nov 7

Running 1:14:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Plumpton hill and back. Slowly adjusting to running in the heat, had a head wind on the way out which was annoying but good on the way back!

Monday Nov 6

Cycling (Mtb) 10:00 [2]
Cycle to Jubilee Park
Running intervals 40:00 [4]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Finally made myself go back to intervals. Got there to find out that they have closed the athletics track until Feb cos they are re-seeding it. Ended up using the adjacent rugby oval which someone had marked a 400m loop.

long warm up and stretches.
4 x 400m with a 200m recovery
cool down and stretches.

Felt pretty good considering I havent done any intervals since August, ooops.
Much rathered running on the rugby oval than the dodgy grass track, less risk of spraining an ankle!!
Cycling (Mtb) 10:00 [2]
Cycle home from Jubilee

Sunday Nov 5

Running long 1:45:00 [4]
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus
Plumpton Hill loop, decided run the opposite direction to normal, prob wont be going that way again didnt enjoy the long slog up Mangolplah Rd

Saturday Nov 4

Running race 30:17 [4] 6.4 km (4:44 / km) vdot: 41.5
shoes: Nike Air Zoom
Road Runners at Wagga Beach. Felt much better than yesterday, head ache finally gone. Struggled with the heat today (I guess thats what you get for running at 1pm). We had a nice dip in the river afterwards thou, could have just about walked across the river its that low at the moment :(

Friday Nov 3

Note
(sick)

Thursday Nov 2

Running 59:00 [3]
Morning run, nice and cool and cloudy. Glad I went as spent the rest of the day in the car driving around the Albury Bypass

Wednesday Nov 1

Running hills 49:00 [4]
Hot!! Felt very flat, probably shouldnt have done such a hilly run. Revisited the site of my snake siting... no live snake, just a dead one about 40m down the road
