Willans run with Dad. Had hoped we'd take it easy but Dad was setting a cracking pace at the start (he thought I was setting the pace), both of us were stuffed after the first big hill. Kept this pace going for the first 30mins and then Dad dropped off and I tried to keep it going but died up the last hill. Was a good run thou

Felt pretty good today and wasn't too hot. Aimed to keep them all under 2.05 and just managed to do that.
Mum made a bit of a detour on her cycle home from work and stopped by, she decided to have a run and did an impressive 2.22 for her first 500m, second 500m slightly less impressive

Hadn't planned on running today but the thought of spending another day sitting in the car got me out of bed. Was a nice morning, saw a couple of peacocks wandering down Plumpton road which was a bit random, then avoided the man walking his 6 Greyhounds down Redbank Rd

A very comfortable 20 degrees today! Made for great running out at Connorton. Did two different 4km loops, no real problems on the first loop (28.50) but made a couple of small errors on the second (32.40) plus it had a bit more climb. Last run at Connorton until the SL in March

Morning long, didn't start quite as planned, my banana was still horribly under ripe (the skin was yellow??), needless to say tasted foul and I never actually consumed any of it!! Settled for a handlefull of jelly beans instead which got me going. Took it nice and steady today

After a big lunch of home made damper and numerous toppings I headed out on a cycle only to be greeted with a horrible swirling head wind (seemed to be coming from all directions!) Had an encounter with the same mob of cattle that Dad met this morn, neither of us really knew what to do!!

Nice morning run, felt a lot better than yesterday arvo. Once again spent the day in the car, this time driving the Snowy Mtns Highway looking at unstable slopes... only time we got out of the car ended up standing around for 20mins in the sun. Blowering Dam is looking horrible :(

Had an upset stomach all day so wasn't the best session, last 500 was more at normal pace as my stomach was telling me to stop. Didn't have Dad to yell at me (I mean encourage me) this week so times weren't too fast. New shoes felt great tho

Out to Pommy after work, took it fairly easy cos of the heat. Found a control on a contour bank from our last club event out there in November, wasn't easy trying to keep the same pace and carry the control at the same time

Willans run, legs felt very heavy and struggled on the hills. Was surprisingly good weather for running, a bit humid and I think I even felt a few sprinkles on rain!!
Spent a lot of the run clambering over fallen trees and branches from last nights freak storm

along the boat club road, with a 500m recovery.
Conditions weren't great, was about 37 degrees, the heat coming off the road was horrible. Glad Dad was there to push me or I would have been a lot slower!

Went out to Connorton with the parents for some o'ing in more technical terrain. Took a little bit to get used to reading the rock again, had a shocker to the first control, all the rest were alrightish.
Smoke from the Vic bushfires has blanketed Wagga so struggled a bit breathing wise. Couldn't believe how dry and dead the bush was at Connorton

Morning run again, got to a top of 41 in Wagga yestie not nice at all, so was still pretty warm this morning.

Met up with Neil from Road Runners at the start of the run and ran with him until Apex Park, he was setting a cracking pace for a morning run, I was struggling to keep up and talk at the same time! Tried to keep the same pace for the remainder of the run but slowed towards the end

Glad I went for my run this early this morning, its already 31 degrees at 10am, bring on a 40+ day!!

Managed to make a pal on my run, a friendly dog followed me from Apex Park home, (no matter how hard I tried to get rid of him!) he was still roaming my street when I left for work an hour later, Dad ended up having to take him back to his owners in Lakehaven.

8 days into the new year and i've already managed to hurt myself o'ing. Went out to Pommy again this arvo, felt fairly good on foot and didnt make any major mistakes. however did managed to somehow shoulder charge a broken tree branch, looking forward to a lovely bruise tomorrow morning.

Had hopefully my last physio appointment today for the weird pains I was getting in my hips (when walking not running), haven't felt anything for the last 2 weeks

After a horrible nights sleep really didnt feel like getting up and running this morning, but managed to drag myself out of bed. Never really felt comfortable, it was a nice overcast morning thou, even rained for about a minute!! Lots of cyclists out along Mitchell Rd

Decided to go out to Pommy again after work, was rather hot and sticky. Felt pretty good running and navigation wise, thou I did slack off a bit near the end as I know parts of that hill a bit too well.

Cameron started working at Cargills (meat works) this week so the conversations at the dinner table have been rather amusing (and at times not suitable for the dinner table). I wonder if he'll be a vego by the end of the six weeks.
