Long day of travelling! Up at 4.30am (2.30am Aus time) for our 7am flight... then had an enjoyable (maybe not) 5 hour wait in Syd airport for my flight back to Wagga

Saturday Feb 10

Orienteering (control picking exercise) 31:00 [3] 3 km (10:20 / km)

Feeling pretty crap still so took it nice and easy, no major navigation errors which was good
Orienteering race (Camp Champs) 55:00 [4] 4.5 km (12:13 / km)
shoes: Jalas - old
Jog/slow run, was pretty happy with my navigation, made one error going to 14, by then my head was telling me it was time to stop so went back.

Friday Feb 9

Woke up with a cold, great....
Relocation exercise with Rachel, wasn't feeling 100% so struggled with both the running (it was Waioneke, so lots of ups and downs!) and navigating

Took it pretty easy cos felt yuk, tried to concentrate on navigating.

Had a nice snooze under the Macadamia trees at the MacNut farm after the training

Thursday Feb 8

Compass exercise at Woodhill, pretty vague in some areas, thankfully I didn't get hopelessly lost!! Should have worn long socks tho, damn cutty grass!!

As if we hadn't done enough running for the day! Headed to the coast and did a fun group (Kathryn, Jas, Jo and Rachel) run down a big hill and then along a cool creek, crossed it a few times and stopped for a dip mid run, then back up the hill for dinner by the beach!

Wednesday Feb 7

Introduction to Woodhill course. Given my previous efforts at Woodhill I took it fairly steady for the first few controls, made one dodgy error.

Tuesday Feb 6

Orienteering race (Loop race) 1:16:55 [5] 9.5 km (8:06 / km)
shoes: Jalas - old
Long race to end the weekend, felt surprisingly good. Ran with the pack for the first loop and then I slowed. Stuffed the first control on the second loop, loosing a fair bit of time and the pack. Was good to run by myself tho as it meant I actually had to navigate.

Monday Feb 5

Orienteering race (Middle) 25:42 [4] 3.1 km (8:17 / km)

Pretty fun area, fast, open with heaps of little gullies. Chasing start from the sprint the day before (so was at the end), didn't make any major errors, finally happy with my navigating
Orienteering race (Relay) 39:06 [4] 3.5 km (11:10 / km)
shoes: Jalas - old
Obviously used up my good run for the day in the morning!! No errors on the first loop but then kinda lost it in the second half (maybe it had something to do with seeing Prong and Ezy mid loop??) stuffing up 11 big time and then 13.
Orienteering race (Sprint) 15:20 [5] 2.5 km (6:08 / km)

Was rather tired by this stage so thankfully course wasn't too technical
