Sunday Nov 11

Running 1:38:00 [3] 18 km (5:27 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 13 (2)
Morning long run which ended up slowing right down to a plod by the end, didnt want to push my knee to far plus feeling rather unfit at the moment. Decided to have a go at a bit of the Wiradjuri walking trail track (which is about a 30km loop around Wagga).

From my place went out to Red Hill Rd and all the way along it to the quarry road. Good bush tracks here, then went under the railway line and out to Silverlite, the track isn't very well marked here and ended up taking a couple of wrong turns. Then crossed the highway and went up into Pomingalrna, hills!!, stopped for a drink and look at the view from the top and then headed back down past the golf course and along Flowerdale Lagoon. Hip started to hurt a fair bit on the downhills so thought Id better call it a morning and got picked up. Its a good track, hopefully one day I'll have a crack at the entire loop.

Off to Sydney tonight for a week long Environmental Auditing training course for work, it's going to be a struggle to get through this one!!

Saturday Nov 10

Running race (Road Runners @ Wagga Beac) 23:56 [4] 5.2 km (4:36 / km) vdot: 42.3
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 13 (2)
Opted for the short today as planning on attempting a long slow plod tomorrow. Starting to warm up again, and was pretty humid out on the North Wagga flats. Hip hurt a bit towards the end, managed to keep up with Carmel thou until the long and short courses split.

Friday Nov 9

Running 1:05:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 13 (2)
After ignoring my alarm to go running in the morn, I dragged myself out after work. Windy again, my hip was ok for the first half but ached a lot on the way home, happy to take the strapping tape off my foot afterwards.

Thursday Nov 8

Cycling (Mtb) 1:05:00 [3]
Took Dad for his last bit of exercise before his operation tomorrow, went out to Boiling Down Rd and then up Redbank into Plumpton Hills, had a horrible head wind, side wind, which ever direction we were going wind!! Dad headed back home after this and I went out to Gregadoo Rd and then back home via Lake Albert.

Pilates 30:00 [3]

Wednesday Nov 7

Running 1:06:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 13 (2)
Back to the Physio again today, this time I emerged with my left foot tightly strapped, to see whether my hip problems are originating in my feet, felt a bit weird at first back got used to it.

Plumpton, Boiling Down loop, felt really good for the first 35mins and then died, feeling so slow and unfit at the moment.

Tuesday Nov 6

Running 38:15 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 13 (2)
Morn run around the Lake

Cycling (Mtb) 1:02:00 [3]
Out to Mitchell Rd and then back to Plumpton, then around Springvale for a bit. Feeling pretty good hip wise, was a bit sore after the mornings run but it doesnt seem to hurt at all when I cycle.

Best Melbourne Cup performance from me today, backed both Efficient and Mahler, scored a nice bit of pocked money for my trip to Sydney next week!!

Monday Nov 5

Running (fartlek) 38:15 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 13 (2)
From home to Apex Park and back. Hip pulled up pretty nicely after yesterday, I had been expecting the worse, its now more of an ache than the pain it was last week.
