Orienteering 47:24 [3]5.9 km (8:02 / km) +250m 6:38 / km
shoes: Asics Enduro
Club event on Willans Hill, very handy location for me, meant I could sleep in!! Didn't start off too great, drawing my map up wrong (numbered the course backwards). Drizzled all morning which made all the small rocks very slippery. Standard long course at Willans, lots of climb (went over the ridge 4 times) and lots of track running. Took it pretty cautiously cos of the wet, had a nice big slip clambering over one contour bank and hit my knee pretty hard. Enjoyable course set by newcomers Rick and Neroli :)

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Enduro
Jog to and from the Music Bowl for the club event, quite out this morning which was good cos I was in my o gear running along the streets

Pilates 30:00 [3]

Saturday Jun 21

Running race 40:15 [4]9 km (4:28 / km) vdot: 45.3
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14
Road Runners @ Rawlings Park. Slower than last week, mainly cos I was running home after the race.

Running 55:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14
Run home after roadies, along the back of the lake and then a slow slog through Tatton, quick drink from the tap outside my parents and then off up Willans, hills in the last 15mins hurt as the rest of the days running had be relatively flat.

Dropped the parents at the airport this morn for the first leg of their trip to Europe... Dad wasn't very impressed with my msg in the arvo that the Roos (Mums team!!) beat the Hawks... hehehe

Morning streets, alarm didnt go off this morning, turns out I had it set for next Thursday. Sprinkling with rain for the duration of the run which was nice.

Running 57:10 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14
I was strangly motivated for this Friday arvo run.... after a week of forcing myself to go running, eating rather unhealthly and drinking, I was surprised how good I felt, put it down to a couple of reasons...

a) sugar high... had been eating these tasty 'boxing kangaroo' Allens lollies all arvo.
b) re-motivated after chatting to one of the guys I'm running in the Wagga Trail Marathon relay with, and finding out I'm running the last leg (12.2km), so gotta stay fit for that.
c) I'm super happy cos it was Trents last day working out at Jerilderie!! he will now actually be living all the time at our house.
d) it was Friday.

Wednesday Jun 18

Running 57:10 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14 (2)
Afternoon ridge run, not great, feeling very dehydrated. Pretty dark by the end, lots of random animal noises whilst going past the back of the zoo!

Tuesday Jun 17

Running 53:15 [3]11 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14 (2)
Two laps of the Lake

Monday Jun 16

Running 29:30 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14
Morn streets... so so cold!! My face felt like it was frozen for the first 10mins, then I think I just got used to the numbness!!

Sports massage at lunch, think I left this one a bit too long, my hamstrings were so so tight, nearly kicked Tony at one stage it hurt so much.
