Ennerdale oval ft High stile and Pillar. Sore old legs from lack of rest day yesterday but pushed through and had a decent day. Wouldn’t be a Barrie family holiday if we weren’t completely shagged by the end.

Girthy ride round by Hardknott and Wrynose passes. Chain jumped on the last wee bit of Hardknott. Had to walk it. Tragic. Also had a puncture, chain skipping constantly by the end. Great day out tho, stunning roads, hopefully next time a fully functional bike.

Mountain biking at Whinlatter. Hire Mtb from shop made a nice change for the day. Decent “Gnarly” trails in good company.

Tour de Lorton dale then up and back along fellbarrow tops. Torrential drizzle and non existent bridleways were annoying but still grassy hilltops are a great place to be.
