easy from dafins across towards viktorsberg
found myself questioning whether coming back here was really a good idea, realised about 0.3s into this run that i’d been thinking stupid thoughts. what an absolute pleasure, so peaceful, so hilly, i’m blessed.

S+C 15:00 [1]

with a panoramic view of some enormous swiss mountains
sweating like a dog though so humid

from the gare du nord again, this time heading along the canal for a bit, different vibe to yesterday felt a lot less like a tourist and more like a runner.

Running 1:14:56 [2] 15.32 km (4:53 / km) +95m 4:45 / km

run around paris
mental really, started off in the best possible way with no route planned other than finding the champs-elysées, which wasn’t too difficult given its length, then down to the river and a quick lap of that big cool tower they’ve got here, very nice. unbelievably long queues if you want to go up it, perhaps in my next life. anyway then headed along the south side of the river and got shifting for a kilometer or so which was fun - although hr maybe suggesting otherwise. after that just plodded back into the centre past all the new olympic venues, eventually finishing at a bakery for some breakfast, delicious.

Mount Keen from the north with Alastair
Lovely run this, had never actually done it from this direction, despite having come up from the south on multiple occasions. quads were a bit shafted on the descent, otherwise decent feels.

whizzing back down with a tailwind and ice cream in the crosshairs.

Edi airport back into the city.
Just executing a silly idea i couldn’t shake lol, glad i did, finishing a run at 5am is a whole new vibe. Started fairly quick on the undulating roads down to the canal, then settled into a nice tempo/high steady, although had to stop for the loo after 40 mins and kinda lost my rhythm after that. Straight back to bed after.
