Sandstone paradise. New favourite O map by a country mile! Don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun while orienteering!

Orienteering 1:02:19 [3] *** 8.9 km (7:00 / km) +355m 5:50 / km

Easy effort level relay training (mass start with loops). Again in sandstones, but this time in some of the biggest/ steepest hills I’ve orienteered in.

First taste of Czech sandstones. Absolutely loved it! Hills are much bigger and steeper than I had expected though

Nice run with a good group from Czech. Found maybe the biggest wild blueberries I’ve ever seen, ruined a good white shirt in the process.

Mass start middle with loops. Was cool terrain, way more blueberries than I expected in Czech

Travel day, and flight was heavily delayed so couldn’t squeeze in a run anywhere. Also good to stay off my foot before this intense week

Finnish long champs final. Made 2 dumb as mistakes beat the beginning, so got caught up by 3mins by Mikko Erola, ran together, dropped him, but only by 1min. So ended up 3rd
