I'm not sure why I was not resting....just felt like I should get more punishment! Anyway, I was really enjoying the ride, did a few trails in a park I found here. Not sure what the mileage really was.

So...my first 10K race. Goal accomplished. felt good! A little stressed out as I got stuck in traffic (accident on 94) and I got there 10min after the race was supposed to start. It started 30 min later..i even passed some people! So, say, if I pan to do it in under 60min next year, is that overachieving??!!

Lapham Peak, nice and easy course, but my legs kept saying "NOOO", so I had to walk ..pretty much the whole thing. I'm still paying for overexercising. But I'm not sorry. I did get a branch in my eye at control 10, and I had to wait a couple minutes, till the pain kinda got away and I was able to verify that I can still see w/ that eye. It's good now.

Trail run with Maja. This trail behind my house is so soft and easy on the knees. I may have slowed down Maja a bit, but w/ some training I should be doing that less and less.
