Running (Trail Gravel to H) 45:00 [0]
ahr:159 max:181 shoes: NB 1060

happy trotting along the trail! the rivers were quite rushing everywhere, I stopped and looked at every single one, kinda wanting to put my feet in. Nice mist, quiet run, as it seems not everyone likes to run in the rain.

Running (Trail) 1:09:46 [4] 7.0 mi (9:58 / mi) +350m 8:38 / mi
ahr:157 max:176 shoes: NB 1060

Lapham Peak w/ Maja and Marco

Great run, weather totally cooperated, cool, and a cool mist later. I felt good and relaxed the whole way, very little, if any, huffing and puffing. Maybe this training is paying off after all. Hmm...maybe I'll dare again the Lapham Peak 10K run this fall? :)

This is just 20 secs more than my record on this trail, 3 months ago, but HR was 10beats lower (both ahr and max) this time! Yes, I think I'm finlally loving it!

At the Y in Men falls.

This was definetly one of the most fun classes. I gotta stick w/ this one!

Biking (Bike Commute) 41:30 [2] * 7.0 mi (5:56 / mi)
ahr:128 max:143 shoes: NB 1060

FIRST TIME BIKING TO WORK!!!

Not sure if I can call it commute yet, as I have to make it back as well. (=bike is still there when I leave, biking clothes have not taking off from my cube, I still have my bike lock key...a lot of variables)

It worked out OK, except I didn't prepare for it (do I ever, for anything???). So I had this 20lbs backpack, with laptop and clothes and showering stuff... you name it, I got it.

At some point, this guy, obvious bike commuter, crossed ways w/ me, he only had his lunch bag around his neck. I mostly looked like I was on a back country camping trip :)))

Anyways, it was not as scary as I thought, traffic not too bad, and I made it just in time for a meeting i was hosting.

Biking (Bike Commute) 32:24 [3] 7.2 mi (4:30 / mi)
ahr:126 max:151 shoes: NB 1060

Riding back home....

All the stars have alligned to make possible the ride home, bike was still there, weather still nice, traffic not crazy, and me still awake!

I fiddled a bit w/ my watch to see if I could get that odometer thingy to work..I may need to calibrate it. Otherwise , I was pretty much booking it, (in my own relative terms). I think the climb it's pretty equal both ways. (My house and my work place are both high, and I gotta cross the valley) .

I'll figure out soon enough how long this ride really is and how I can prevent the tired sleepy time at 6-ish..

Running (Trail Paved) 35:17 [5] 3.86 mi (9:08 / mi)
ahr:167 max:181 slept:7.0 shoes: NB 1060

Up north on my trail.

Still quite humid, but chilly, so the run went OK. What am I talking about, the run went great!! I'm pretty sure this is the fastest I ever did my 4 miles up north...it felt like flying after CO :)

Stretch/Strength (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: NB 1060

The usual.

I gotta remeber not to go on Tuesdays at the Brown Deer Y, as the army instructor was there again!! My body loved it to get back in the groove, even if some exercise proved kinda challenging.

And if this humidity lets go just a bit, I may start running again!
