Running (trail paved) 35:19 [3] 3.67 mi (9:37 / mi) +100m 8:52 / mi
shoes: NB 1060

Up north

Temps were great. Awesome clouds! Who said there's no cool clouds in Wisconsin??!! Too bad my camera is messed up...

Didn't have time to get all the gadgets (lavi's party), so no HR data.

I still have the umph from the altitude. loving it!

great weather

We cranked it on this one (ok, for me it was craking it...I really need to do this more often!)

Stretch/Strength (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [3]
slept:6.0 shoes: NB 1060

Men Falls - new instructor.

Finally able to do the wednesday workout, as the lunch meeting was cancelled.

I went a bit crazy today with the weights, so I'm sure I'll pay soon for that. If I only knew how to prevent this lactic acid build up or whatever gets you in pain!

Here's a recap of the weights today for future reference:

Squats, Back and Chest : L+M (I think I'm ready to add a S to squats, after I recover from today)
Bicep, Tricep: M+S + S (just added the second S, oh, wow, did that make a difference!)
Lunges: 1st time ever I'm able to do lunges (with no weight on the shoulders, as always). Hey, who knows, maybe by winter I'll be able to do 2 tele turns. Hmm...I should not get ahead of myself here!

Running (trail paved) 35:26 [3] 3.75 mi (9:27 / mi) +150m 8:24 / mi
ahr:156 max:178 shoes: NB 1060

Up north

Wow, this past 10 days spent at altitude sure helped a lot. I felt like flying! Listened to the rainbow song all the way :))))))) Uh-ah! So now I know what advantage certain people have :)

So, if I make it till tomorrow with no huge pain from this over achieving wednesday, I'll promise to run at least 3 times a week! (for a while, no big commitment or high expectations, please!)

Time today does not include extended chit chatting with Greg (on rollerblades) and Kurt (on a bike). Funny enough, Greg is faster than Kurt!

Now that I feel so accomplished, I'm going to pick some apples from the garden for a pie!

Note

Most underachieving day:
------------------------------------

1) I planed to go riding - get all dressed up and energized... THEN: My instructor is stiff, so I ended up only grooming Nuggett. I mean I really like that horse, and she seemed to enjoy it, but no way I can count that as training..:)

2) I go to visit Jeremy's new baby and planned to run together after. Get all my running equipment and ...again... energized. Jeremy is all tired (new baby will probably do that to you) and I could totally tell he didn't know how to get out of the running (=sad, long face saying "oh, man, I'm so done doing anything tonigh"). So I didn't make a big face when he expressed he's not into it.

So there.. I had a beer (a good one too) and that's my exercise for today.Plus sorting my pics from the tetons.
