Orienteering (Score-O) 1:15:00 [1]
shoes: Nort face

Afton Park, MN - Score O

Sunny, and a bit cold, not feeling too sore. Ok, I am sore now and I need a break!

This was John's first O, so we ran together and talked routes here and there. The controls we did were pretty easy, which was perfect. The woods were quite nice, wonder how it is in the spring or fall. John did slip on ice once on these stairs and it didn't look pretty. I don't recall falling, except not being able to make it up this icy hill once. Fun event, good work on the MN guys.

MSP tour - with John

Longest run so far! :) :)

I thought we'd be doing 12 m, then at mile 9 I agreed to do 14 (must have been not thinking too much :) The tour was fun, but last 2 miles my head was abouut to turn in a big ice cube.

Notes:
1) need a better head gear for cold temps
2) need to figure out why the outside of my feet hurt
3) stretch more, along the lines of fast recovery

NEED NEW SHOES! I'm just looking and it seems I put 450 miles on them, wow!

Note
(rest day)

Got a tiny bug last night running in the cold, but I'm sure it'll go quick.

Is ATTACKPOINT A LOT SLOWER the past few days or is it just me??

Up north - solo

I was so mad cause I left work early so I could run outside. My car didn't start so I didn't make it home till almost 5pm. So I left running all mad. However, being mad seems to be making me going quite fast. No clue if I'll ever beat this. I recall last year at the Chicago Blues when after I lost my watch I was so mad that I flew through the sprint course. Anyway, doesn't matter, cause I don't want to create a habit.

First time I ran fast and did not stop my stop watch ... for crossing roads, messning with my shirt..also, there was no flower picking/smelling of any kind!
