Local jog from Tidal River camp ground to Little Oberon Bay and back, with a jog along the sand along the length of Norman Beach, on my return. It's tough running along the sand, and I was surprised that I was running so slowly...

After walking with Neil to the train station, I ran a 5km route to get home. It's a lovely morning for a jog. Ran along Carpenter St to Thistle, took a detour around Wirrana, then back to Thistle. Had to cross the railway line, so turned into Sullivan, Belle Vue and Laurel, back to MacKenzie.

First bush orienteering for the year, Jim's To Day event. Loved it, but had 2 controls where I made time consuming errors near or inside the circle. It was Prue's birthday so we went out for coffee & cake at Das Cafe Haus in Castlemaine. Nice way to end a good bush event, and got a lift home with Louise.

Went for a street run just after sun up. Did the MacKenzie Rowan loop in reverse. This way there are still the same hills; but the ascents are less steep and longer.

A very hot evening; very glad that Mick was using the super soaker ad had zooperdoopers for after our shorter than normal run. We had circuit work afterwards to make sure we were working for the hour. Tough, but glad I did it.
