Walking 1:10:00 [1] 7.0 km (10:00 / km)

Walked from home to the station, then from the station to work, and the other way round to get home.

Monday Nov 29, 2010 #

run 50:00 [3] 8.0 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: Asics Torano3

This was my first 'longish run' from home. Ran to the bushland behind Spring Gully. It took 19mins to get there.

Saturday Nov 27, 2010 #

run 42:34 [3] 7.5 km (5:41 / km)
shoes: Asics Torano3

Ran along MacKenzie St to Rosalind Park, then followed the creek (which was very full) to Lake Weeroona, around the lake, then home. It was a good run. Stopped in at Trades Hall on the way home to check out the labor party (not much partying was going on), but there weren't many people I knew and felt a bit self conscious in wet running gear, so I didn't stay.

Wednesday Nov 24, 2010 #

run 31:39 [3] 5.5 km (5:45 / km)
shoes: Asics Torano3

Early morning run, lovely time to be in the Maiden Gully bushland.

Monday Nov 22, 2010 #

run 19:36 [3] 3.0 km (6:32 / km)
slept:5.0 shoes: Asics Torano3

Ran to the supermarket and back with an additional 2.2kg on my back.

orienteering 1:26:00 [2] ***** 7.5 km (11:28 / km)
shoes: innov8

Night orienteering! Went out with Ilka. We got a bit bamboozled looking for one control, and pretty much gave up. It was a lovely night and I enjoyed it (a bit more than Ilka).

Friday Nov 19, 2010 #

run 31:33 [3] 5.5 km (5:44 / km)
shoes: Asics Torano3

Morning run. Didn't need to be at work until later.

Walking 1:00:00 [1] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)
slept:6.0

Sunday Nov 14, 2010 #

long slow run 1:20:00 [3] 9.7 km (8:15 / km)
slept:5.0 shoes: Asics Torano3

Neil and I went to no.7 Res for a long run. Neither of us had much fuel in the tank, so this wasn't very fun, more a slow walk/run/shuffle (for me). There was a lot of patersons curse up on the ridge. we were very glad to be finished this run.

Saturday Nov 13, 2010 #

run 45:00 [3] 7.5 km (6:00 / km)
slept:3.5 shoes: Asics Torano3

went for a local run this afternoon with Neil. It was raining throughout. We were very slow, and got drenched. This was a good way to blow away some of the cobwebs from the sorting, packing and tossing.

Thursday Nov 11, 2010 #

run 26:17 [3] 4.0 km (6:34 / km)
slept:2.0 shoes: Asics Torano3

Lunchtime run twice around the botanical gardens. Left knee was really sore to begin, so I warmed up with walking, stretching and VMO resistance exercise and was able to run after 8 mins.

Walking 30:00 [2] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Asics Torano3

Walking between train station and office.

Tuesday Nov 9, 2010 #

Walking 1:00:00 [2] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)
slept:0.0

There - I succumbed to the pressure and decided to log it; my resistance matches my sleep.

Saturday Nov 6, 2010 #

run 30:54 [3] 5.0 km (6:11 / km) +140m 5:25 / km
shoes: Asics Torano3

a short run from my sister's place into the reserve on Mt Majura in Canberra. Only went half way up, but next time I want to get to the ridge and run along the track on the ridge.

Wednesday Nov 3, 2010 #

Note

Walked 6km today, at a push pace.

Tuesday Nov 2, 2010 #

Unspecified hills (Bushwalk) 3:13:00 [3] 10.0 km (19:18 / km) +550m 15:08 / km

Tough walk up Mt Difficult and back. The knees let me know they were there - it wasn't easy on the knees. Beautiful scenery and many wildflowers. This was an excellent way to spend Melbourne Cup day.
