Tone up session in the drizzle. Got a bit cold when we stopped moving. Enjoyed the shower afterwards.

Hiked along a small portion of the Great Ocean Track from Capo Otway west to find the Rainbow Falls. The last part of the walk includes a beach walk and unfortunately for us the tide was right in at the time we were there, and the sea was pretty wild. We weren't going to risk being washed off the rocky point so just perched on a rocky and watched the waves for about half an hour ( that's included in the walk time). Ambly walking pace as Neil is still recovering from his virus and he also has a sore Achilles.

We had a 5km time trial tonight. The extra distance was warming up and cooling down jogs. I ran my 5km in 26:22.

Ran from the no.7 res car park along the channel and onto the Marne track. Followed a number of tracks uphill to the ridge, and back along the ridge, then down the gasline track to the car park. Lovely damp quiet bush today. Whom should I drive past walking along the highway in Kangaroo Flat, but Judy (orienteer tiger), who was really excited at having done her longest run ever.

Attended the Powerflex session which included a warm up with balls thena circuit run from While Hills primary school along the creek to the botanical gardens and the back to the school via the roads. It was very wet, so we ran on the paths. This was followed by a lovely stretching session

Ran up MacKenzie St to the creek at Oak St., then back home down the creek. Felt very slow and sluggish.

Joined a class with 2 other women today. It was my RDO and I was able to walk to the class and home .

Jogged from home to the bushland track at the end of Symons Street. Followed this to Olympic Pde which I crossed and re-entered the bushland at Redmile Rd. Continued along tracks to Collins St. Ran home along the creek trail. Took it slowly, as this is the longest run I've done for a long time.

This was an intense session with resisted planks and other difficult exercises on the Reformer machine. Phew!

2nd Step into Life training session for the day. This was also a tone up session.

Neil & I went for a walk to the top of Mt Herbert. Ran back to the car when we read a msg from Evan that he would call us at 3pm. I fell over hard onto my knee just near the car.

Mount Tarrangower event today. That always means a lot of hill climbing! Couldn't run it all, and initially in the rocks my navigation was a bit messy, but got back on track - just couldn't move fast!

Cardio session. We warmed up, then paired up and ran 3 lake loops with knee-ups and kick-ups using the boxing bags which we ran with. Ran 5km. Felt great afterwards; this blew the cobwebs away.
