Met Liz at the oval and we did a HIIT session which i recorded on video to upload for tomorrow’s 6:15am enthusiasts.

Early morning run from home down to Weeroona oval, then back again. There was a suggestion we could gather at the oval and go running in pairs. This wasn’t sanctioned because heavy rain was expected. I noticed 2 cars there and guessed their owners had gone running anyway. There was another personal trainer down there with lots of gym gear, working with a client under the veranda in the semi light. Pleased with this run.

After giving up on running today due to a sore knee, I took off on the old bike to ride to Crusoe Res. It rained 3km from home and as the rain got heavier I decided to shelter at the Kangaroo Flat pool veranda. Arrived there to find 2 other groups of cyclists from the same exercise group, all wanting to clock up some kms on today’s challenge. After the rain died down, they headed back towards BENDIGO and I continued in the opposite direction. Changed my route to head out to Maiden Gully via OlympicPde, then home via Maiden Gully Rd, Albert St, Happy Valley Rd, and down Lily St. A few hills, but it was lovely riding on relatively quiet roads.

Long run with Neil this morning after a lazy sleep-in. We jogged from home through the wastelands across past the basketball stadium into the bush. Came across police in an unmarked car on an isolated gravel road asking if we’d seen a white van..... finished with a loop of the Victoria diggings reserve

Walked today for at least 2 hours. First was the walk to. The blood bank to donate plasma this morning. Later in the afternoon I walked to Judy’s place 3.5 - 4 km away. We exchanged Easter eggs then she walked back to our place and I drove her home.

Early morning jog down to the far side of the lake and back. I wanted to experience as few vehicles out and about as possible. T had rained overnight so the roads were wet. Despite few vehicles, they were noisier on the roads than I’d expected. There were a few people out exercising.

Went for a walk with Carmel and her new puppy Miss Apricot, (or Cotty). We took about 25 mins to walk to Carmel’s house and then I walked back home via the fruit & veg shop.

Walked for over 2 hours this arvo. I just needed to get out for a walk. In the rain. Walked to almost Crusoe Res, and walked home almost to Oak St before Neil picked me up (I rang and asked for a lift home). Judy joined me at Alder St and left at Alder St, so she had a decent walk too.

Ran this morning along the creek. Felt threatened by a growling dog which was off its lead with its owner. Congratulated the next guy with a big dog for keeping his dog on lead. Am I imagining this or are more people walking their dogs off lead in public places?
