Went for a lovely bike ride with Ilka and JoAnne. We did the 'juvenile' loop. Afterwards went for coffee. Thanks girls!

This was the first run in a long time when I felt good. My achilles tendon didn't get sore until after running for 30mins. It definitely preferred softer ground surfaces, so I sought the nature strips and bits of grassed areas where I could.

Ran along the pipeline track near Julia's house in Fern Tree. Stayed in Hobart when we went to the Cygnet Folk Festival.

Difficult, because of tight muscles (hamstring, achilles...). Felt sluggish and slow. Was sluggish and slow.

Bike ride with JoAnne to Crusoe res: rode around it and then went in for a quick swim to the bouys and back. I was surprised at the warmth of the water. Getting out and riding back all wet was ok, but I got pretty cold later on at home. I'll now have no excuse to not get into the res for a swim after running or riding there with Neil.

Walked another circuit from Tawonga Huts to Mt Jim, then took the pole line to Cole Saddle, where we had lunch in the hut out of the wind, and then back walked back to Pretty Valley pondage (Neil ran the last 2km, while I sat in the shade resting my sore blistered feet).

Walking from our campsite to the Fainters and down to Bogong Jack saddle; returned to the Tawonga Huts campground area via the Jaithmathangs, a very beautiful circuit walk! Neil almost stepped on a tiger snake on the track to Bogong Jack.
