orienteering 1:09:06 [4] ***** 5.4 km (12:48 / km)

Victorian Long Distance Championship event - Mount Beckworth. Made two significant errors and lost 6mins on one leg and 3mins on another. Great map - steep, rocky and quite rough, with fantastic views. I should have entered a longer course - didn't feel tired enough afterwards.

orienteering race 57:38 [4] ***** 3.4 km (16:57 / km)

Victorian Middle Distance Championship event at Sailers Creek. Great area for this event. For some reason I didn't apply any logical strategies to my running. Just pointed and ran - which is ok in simple spur gully terrain, but not gold mining. Consequently I made many errors, and it was a performance I'd like to forget....

3 X 5 mins plus 1 X 3 min. Tempo session with the pensioner.

warm up/down/recovery 23:17 [2]

10mins warm up, 2 mins recovery between tempos, 7mins slow jog back home. Felt good afterwards, as you do.

Just plodded tonight - lacked the energy and motivation to do any more. Tripped on a rock and landed full out in the dirt. After that just wanted to get home. Sook time
