Not keen to run this morning because of the heat and how I ran yesterday. Strapped on the camelpack and took off slowly. After a long 15min warm up I started to feel much better and the rest of the run was very pleasant; much less bulldust today...

Very hot today - 39degrees. Riding home my eyes stung with the heat and I wondered if it was because the moisture in my eyes was evaporating in the heat. I'm feeling disappointed because the orienteering event I'd planned for tomorrow is cancelled because of the total fire ban.

Rode across to Quarry Hill after work, to the Street orienteering event. Walked around a small course with young Jessica, then collected controls until it was too dark to read the map.

Lacked energy riding home this evening. It's hard to feel enthusiastic on the first day back at work after a long weekend, especially after hardly any sleep!
