More track running near Yackandanda. This time in an area that had been burned in recent years; the bush was really thick. The terrain wasn't suitable for foot orienteering; too many dangerous mining shafts not fenced off. Too many impassable cliffs. It was raining and the 4 wheel drive mud overs were out trying their best to get bogged.

Local bush jog to blow some cobwebs away. Felt quite slow - I know my 'training' isn't preparing me well for the Great Ocean Road half marathon in a couple of weeks time. Oh well, I'll aim to finish it, no PBs for me!

MTB ride 1:10:00 [4] 20.0 km (3:30 / km)

Rode into town with Neil to watch a movie, then rode home via the 'scenic route' near the go-kart track and a few rutted tracks. The movie was 'Decption'. The ride was more fun than the movie.

Scenic route home because: I wanted to avoid the dusty roadworks in Barnard St and because I could because I left work ON TIME!

Got a good new rear flashy light. Helps me feel a bit more confident riding home in the near dark.

It's getting colder these mornings. It was 3.7degrees when I hopped on the bike this morning - wakes me up!
