Sunday Sep 28

MTB ride 1:30:00 [3] 28 km (3:13 / km)
Crackadawn ride with Jo Anne in the Whipstick - just riding on the gravel roads and chatting - great way to start the day, just wanted the coffee and sticky bun afterwards (too far from town).

Saturday Sep 27

orienteering 1:06:57 [3] *** 7.8 km (8:35 / km)
Bush orienteering at Kangaroo Gully. It was a very warm day and the event format was scatter-O, the annual Mars Bar (Mahers Barr) event. I was the only member of either family represented. Numbers were down because of the national championship events in Queensland and the AFL grand final. Good fun; I just wanted to run steady and concentrate. Wish I'd taken water with me, but Jen had put water stops out, thankfully.
MTB ride 47:00 [2] 13 km (3:37 / km)
Rode to Eaglehawk and back this morning.

Friday Sep 26

local run 26:58 [3] 4.5 km (6:00 / km)
Just a gentle steady jog, unwinding after work. My back was a lot better and I didn't need the medication today.

Thursday Sep 25

Note
Hurt my back carrying recycled water yesterday after work, trying to keep a few plants alive. Spent an uncomfortable night then took anti-inflammatory and pain management medication and stretched a lot more than usual.

Wednesday Sep 24

rode to & from work 52:00 [2] 18 km (2:53 / km)

Tuesday Sep 23

intervals 36:52 [4] 7.5 km (4:55 / km)
warm up: 8mins; 5 X 2min intervals with 1min jogging recoveries; 16min warm down.
Haven't done intervals for AGES. It was hard work! Perhaps I should aim to do one sesion per week, to lift my fitness and strength.

Monday Sep 22

rode to & from work 56:00 [3] 19 km (2:57 / km)
Wet and windy ride home. I reckon drivers take more risks when it's wet too. Seems to be a bit more impulsive decision making on the road in these conditions.
