Went for a long run with my brother; he was pushing up the hills, especially in the first half, and claimed that he hasn't run for 2 weeks! We ran around Black Mountain, on the south side, we were about half way up. The distance is a guess.

Set out early for the top of Black Mountain again - tripped on rocky ground for the 2nd time in 6 weeks, and didn't run as well as I'd hoped afterwards.

Tried Neil's suggestion and it worked very well - I only had to walk the last 80 - 100m of the steep part of the mountain. It was quite a discipline to keep the speed slow enough.

Another run up Black Mountain. I'll try to do this each day while I'm here, in a feint hearted preparation for the Bright Four Peaks. My chest felt OK today for the first time in 5 weeks while running. Needless to say that I didn't run the whole way - a lot of puffed out walking on the way up - I'm not fit enough!
