Ran with Neil from the carpark at no.7 reservoir to the top of Mt Herbert, and along the ridge a bit further before descending to the channel and jogging back to the car. Had a later than normal start at 9:30am, and I was hungry at that stage, so by the time we'd got to the top of the range, I was feeling a bit light headed. A good run - glad we did it.

Note

Had a chest xray last week because my rib pain had moved and worsened. Turns out I fractured 4 ribs about 12 weeks ago when I fell while running. No wonder it's been sore.

With an afternoon off work there's nothing better to do than go riding! Sent off some Christmas presies at the post off ice first, then headed out on Edwards Rd to the Calder Alt. Turned into Crusoe and into Kangaroo Flat. Home via Olympic Pde. That road is best avoided at 3:15pm on school days - it's a bit hairy scary with so many cars picking kids up, buses, kids doing unpredictable things etc.
