long slow run 2:01:00 [4] 18.06 km (6:42 / km)
shoes: Asic3000

Went for a long run this morning without company because my running buddies are either:
- Doing a fun run in Melbourne, or
- Injured
I set out to run to the Spring Gully reservoir fence and run around it. I changed my plan after running along the fence for a couple of kms. Turned westward and jogged along the powerlines track to cross the railway line, then along Phyllis St to the highway. Got onto the Bendigo Creek track and followed it back home. I much prefer to run in company; my own is very dull and tells me it would be nicer to walk. Not very much fun this morning, but glad I did I it; enjoying poached eggs for brunch and taking Panadol osteo for the sore feet!

orienteering 1:04:30 [3] 6.54 km (9:52 / km)
shoes: Innov8 bright

This was a training event. We had a 5.8km course which consisted of 2 2.6km courses on different maps. Same course repeated but 2nd time around we had large areas of the map whited out, so we had to navigate straight and use our memories of the 1st course. I was slower 2nd time because I had less confidence and fewer navigational clues.
