Sunday May 13 #

run 38:26 [3] 5.65 km (6:48 / km)
shoes: Crimson brooks

Did a local fartlek of hills this morning. Took it at an easy pace too.

Thursday May 10 #

Step into Life group (Tone up) 1:00:00 [3]

Cold, dark Night time Session.

Wednesday May 9 #

Step into Life group (cardiomax) 1:00:00 [4] 7.3 km (8:13 / km)
shoes: Crimson brooks

Tonight we did a 5km time trial; my time was 27:51. I ran at an easy pace for 2.5 circuits of the lake, then sped up for the next circuit. Caught up to Kate and we pushed to a sprint finish. Good fun. We did about 2km when warming up.

Tuesday May 8 #

orienteering (Maprun) 46:26 [3] 5.7 km (8:09 / km)
shoes: Crimson brooks

Practiced on the easy and moderate courses for next Saturday. I was testing out the maprun version. Ran most of it on tracks, and had to move some pink tapes, so stopped and walked a bit.

Monday May 7 #

Step into Life group (Tone up) 1:00:00 [3]

Used blue resistence bands and it was plenty challenging enough. I'd spent 2 hours trudging through bush putting out controls today and after 2 orienteering runs over the weekend my knees were both a bit sore. Rubbed some voltaren into them when I got home. Hope it helps.
