Went to Mt Macedon for a long run with Ilka. After coffee we arrived at Days picnic ground and set off at 11am to run to the memorial cross car park. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground when we set off. Most of it had melted by the time we returned to the car. Lovely run; there’s something special about running in challenging conditions, it makes me feel more alive - occasionally such running is pure joy.
