Rode part of the O’Keefe rail trail with Neil (finally got him out there - been trying for years). We rode about 18km from Heathcote towards Axedale, turned around at the Knowsley Forest and headed back to Heathcote. Gotta say that the most interesting parts are not straight lines alongside paddocks and within 100m of the Northern Highway. The bridge sections over the arms of Eppalock were dry; it’s more interesting when there’s water alongside the trail. I’m pretty pooped after that distance. There was a light wind and the sun was pretty warm today.

Note

Walked 8km with Kate this morning (it took 2 hrs). We explored the Specimen Hill reservoir surrounds while the gate was open and workers were therefrom Coliban Water.
