The very last orienteering event for us this year at Barambogie. This was put on by the Albury Wodonga club; their championship event. Tough terrain and it was hard navigation. I started 15 mins before Neil but he caught me up at the 5th control (about 1/3 through the course). We continued most of the time in sight of each other, taking some different route choices at times. It was a fabulous event. It was worth the 6 hours of driving to get there.

Session with the team in soft rain, with 6kg dumbbells as well as body weight exercises

Went to the evening cardio session after not being able to get a big enough workout this morning at the 6am session. We had a 4km time trial which I did in 21:50. My focus was on concentrating on my running style, trying to keep my feet light

Attended cricket training with the Golden Square club. I was checking them out to see if I could work with them for my last practical task. I got a bruised hand when trying to catch a cricket ball, and ran hard as required. I didn’t practice bowling or batting because I’m not skilled in those tasks (not good at throwing a ball either). It was tough training,and I decided that it’s not a sport Appropriate for me to help with.
