Hagaby event as the second of the Bendigo ToDay weekend. Jim had set good challenging courses for us. I got confused in at least 2 places and was left behind by the pack looking for the first control. It was hot and it was good that Jim had a table where we left our water bottles at the end of our loops. Neil and I helped to collect controls afterwards, and I saw a snake in the grass about a metre ahead of me, fortunately it was moving away from me.

Run with some of the Achieve It group. Started at the lake, ran to Rosalind Park, did 3 circuits of the flat part of the park, then jogged back

Good stretch a following the run. Very pleased to see Prue at her first flexit session, and lovely to get out for coffee with the gang...

I was excited to be out orienteering again; this was the sprint event. I was disqualified because I missed a control. That was after I’d missed another control and run back to get it. My brain wasn’t focussed enough... So, this time and distance are guesses, because I forgot to turn my watch on at the start.

Set out for a run, uphill.... chose a hilly route to start with and lost oomph. I think I was feeling tired after yesterday’s run, so reduced the climb as I went. Walked a bit and jogged slowly....
