This was the SA Championships event. It was on a map called Broccoli Hill. The terrain was limestone with shallow depressions and quite thick vegetation that reduced visibility significantly. A very complex map and it was easy to lose contact with my location and I got very confused for quite a long
G time, then decided to give up, so I walked back. Afterwards I regretted not relocating back to control 5 from 9 when I arrived there.

Orienteering in the tiny settlement of Louth Bay on the Eyre Peninsula in SA. This was a low key first event for the long weekend carnival. The course was partly on a golf course, partly on coastal sand dunes and heathland and partially on local streets. Thought I did quite well, but came in 4th last. It was course 1 though, so the competition was tough.

Day 1 of the Kings birthday weekend events put on by the Port Lincoln orienteers. Louth Bay event, part golf course, part sand dune, part street course. It was challenging and fun.

Went running with the achieveit run group at 6am. Ran the streets around the hospital for 4.88km in 34 mins then the rest was a cool down jog and walk.

Morning strength session with fit ball and lighter weights (5kg dumbbells). We had a large group of 11 this morning.
