Nice steady 8 this morning. Conditions pretty good, mild and a bit windy coming back. Went out along King Street to Bridge of Don B&Q, up Greenbrae and back along King Street. Aiming for 7:00/mile and felt comfortable at around 6:45 so kept at that. Stomach wasn’t great throughout so didn’t make the strides at the end of the session unfortunately.

Doing yesterday’s session today as feeling like I have more energy again. Session was 12 x 1 min @ 10k pace with 1 min recovery @ 7:00/mile. Found this session quite hard to pace and need to tap into paces easier without always having to look at my watch. The wind was picking up throughout to the session.

Meant to be a session but feeling pretty wiped out again today as food poisoning seems to have taken more out of me than I thought. Just kept it easy as not much in my legs. Splits were as follows: 8:03, 7:52, 7:58, 7:45 and 7:51.

Really enjoyed my long run this morning. Sunny, touch of frost in the air and not a breath of wind. Out at my parents so nice undulating riverside road out and back route from king Edward to Turriff. Feeling a little better today but just took the pace as it came and didn’t push too hard.
Splits were as follows: 7:37, 7:52, 8:12, 7:36, 7:36, 7:32, 7:32, 7:41, 7:35, 7:35, 7:33, 7:23, 7:49, 7:11, 8:05 and 7:40.
