In the end I ran a lot further than the distance on the map which was 4.8km. Wasn't a great run. I was slow and steady at the start and that was okay but then I made a parallel area, where I was on a different knoll, so made a mistake there. Then number six I wasn't thinking straight and made a terrible route choice that I could have fixed but made worse by trying to cut through the green. The rest of the course was alright after that Zoe caught me up so I was able to use her as some motivation. So not a great overall the climb was also a killer, but hoping to go better on Saturdays trail.
