Lost time on 3,4 and 5 after a large dead stick hit the right eye and smashed the glasses I was wearing when approaching 3. Luckily the glasses protected my eye and deflected the stick onto my nose which received a gash and was bleeding. Was flustered for the next few controls dealing with broken glasses and blood. Finally settled down again and actually found the rest of the course easier than normal. Without glasses I could see the ground better and could run faster (but can't see the map detail, so it's all a bit of a compromise).
