First climb for weeks - took it VERY carefully. Did some low and easy traverses in the kids area, some very easy blue and red climbs, some strength training and the easy circuit on the spray wall. Also did quite a few strength exercises of the ankle, and it coped well. So good to be back.

Added some ankle exercises today. Recovery is going well. The MRI and x-ray detected up to 3 fractures and a ruptured ligament but I suspect some of this originates from numerous ankle twists over the last 45 years that were never properly diagnosed (1980's treatment was "she'll be right, just ice it and wait for the swelling to go down"). The main fracture (where all the pain was) is a transverse fracture of the lateral maleolus (or bottom tip of the fibula). No surgery is needed (and that comes from a surgeon who loves his work!).

Took a risk with the rain and was lucky. Even got to see the sun. So nice to do some outdoor exercise.
