Orienteering race 1:07:24 [5] 5.4 km (12:29 / km) +140m 11:03 / km
weight:149lbs

Ran the advanced course at QOC Great Falls National Historic Park meet. Cold and windy day but nice once I got warmed up and into the woods. Because we were not permitted to do long courses at this park this was like a medium length course with some controls that were fairly close together. Made a major mistake going to control five otherwise I think I did fine. Had to walk up a few hills so need to work on my fitness.

Weights 55:00 [3]

Total body weight training.

Mountain Biking 1:05:00 [4]

Mountain biking at Patapsco State Park with my sister Tania. It was a bit cold around 31 degrees but we warmed up quickly. Lots or long technical climbs that left me winded. Tania wore her heart rate monitor and reached a max of 172. I have a heart rate monitor but it needs battery replaced which I need to get around to doing. This was a very nice ride. It started to snow here just as we got home. It would have great to ride in the snow flurries.

Cycling 1:25:00 [3] 20.5 mi (4:09 / mi)

Bike to and from work today. Very cold morning ride in today.

Yoga 1:10:00 [2]

Took a yoga class at the gym with Luisa. This was supposed to be a tough workout according to the instructor when I talked to him, but it was not too hard. Still a good workout and lots of yoga poses that help with balance and flexibility.

Cycling 1:25:00 [3] 20.8 mi (4:05 / mi)

Bike to and from work. I lost my tail light today. It was either stolen or it fell off. It had a quick release that seemed to be very secure as in it should not fall off on its own. So, I think somebody decided they needed a light so just snatched mine. I guess the person did not care that I would then have to ride home in the dark with no tail light. Luckily my bag and shoes are reflective. I'm now using my spare light that is NOT quick release. From now on I'll only use lights that require tools to remove.

Weights 50:00 [3]

Total body weight training.
