Cycling home.
Cycling - Road 1:10:00 [3]31 km (2:15 / km) +20m 2:15 / km

Back home again. Bottom hub thingy came horribly loose so had to make a quick detour past the bike shop.

Also Polar watch still hasn't recovered from swimming last weekend. Maybe it is time for a new one.
Cycling - Road 40:00 [3]18.5 km (2:10 / km) +320m 1:59 / km
shoes: DMT road shoes
Quick climb to the kiwi. Felt a bit poked at the Takehe but recovered as the road flattened.

Friday Aug 10

Note
Was planning on going for a ride, but felt lazy, so I thought "what would our squad coach do"? So I played catching features.

Thursday Aug 9

Cycling - Road 50:00 [3]19.5 km (2:34 / km) +320m 2:22 / km
shoes: DMT road shoes
Really nice night for riding, so went up to the sign of the kiwi again. Almost didn't need either my light or my jacket such was the warmth of the moonlight. There were a few more cyclists out today - summer must be coming along!

Wednesday Aug 8

Cycling - Road 45:00 [3]18.5 km (2:26 / km) +320m 2:14 / km
shoes: DMT road shoes
Quick ride up to the kiwi before dancing. Pretty cruisy pace, with only a couple of the steeper places requiring more effort. Nice and dark above the Takehe, which made for a cautious descent since I only had a little led front light. And of course being attached to the handlebars meant that it never pointed the right direction around the bends... I'll have to get bike mounts for my real light so I can like see where I'm going, or blind oncoming cars or something. Also will have to get booties to stop my feet freezing which will be really geeky.
C • dancing? 2
Note
Viv tried to fix me... will see how it is tomorrow.

Tuesday Aug 7

Note
Photos from the sneaky o are up now. Doesn't that look fun!
My swimming route choice was less than optimal.

Rode out of the shop with a new bike and went for a quick climb up the hill. It's nice to have a bike that works and it is almost fun climbing up Dyers Pass.
