Sunday Dec 23

Note
Oh the Christmas house tidy.

Saturday Dec 22

Cycling - Road 3:02:00 [3]77 km (2:22 / km)
shoes: DMT road shoes
Long bays with Chris, Em, and Greig. Felt somewhat poorly from the previous night, a condition not helped by only getting out of bed 10mins prior to leaving the house, with neither breakfast nor food provisions. Tried my usual strategy of not racing too hard up the hills, but my legs weren't having any of it and died anyway.

The 200m climb up to Evans pass was frustrating torture. The additional 250 up Mt Pleasant wasn't much better.

Friday Dec 21

Cycling - Road 1:04:00 [3]
shoes: DMT road shoes
Out to Woodend beach. L leg got the pins and needles and went to sleep as usual.
Orienteering race 44:10 [4]
shoes: Adidas Response Trail 14
Woodend course. Got quite confused on a few of the controls. Really struggled to read the 15000 scale, especially in the control circle where I lost all sense of scale, proportion. Most of the legs were pretty good though, but never for more than a couple of controls, so a very frustrating flow. A few odd route choices, which made a couple of controls much harder than they should have been. I should have been paying attention to the coaching night.

Foot was quite sore to run on, which was a bit sad since I have been resting it a bit.
