Cycling - Road 3:31:07 [3] 130 km (1:37 / km) +200m 1:37 / km
shoes: DMT road shoes
Loop around Lake Brunner. Pretty sprinty start with lots of attacks for the first 30km. Then 8 guys got a break and not many in the bunch could be bothered chasing. Certainly not an organised chase. Pretty much just cruised around the rest of the course, with a few sprints here and there, and finished in a big sprint. As usual, I left trying to find a good position too late, so finished quite far back in the sprint ( about 2 seconds and 12 places ) and let Cris beat me again.

Mapping the adventure playground and paintball trenches.

Tuesday Apr 15

Cycling - Road 2:31:00 [3] 77 km (1:58 / km) +730m 1:52 / km
shoes: DMT road shoes
Usual Tuesday bunch ride. Pretty slow as everyone seemed to be feeling tired. Aaron was a little unwell, and fortunately Cris was tired, so there wasn't any need to go too hard today.
Orienteering (mapping) 3:00:00 [1]
shoes: Adidas Response Trail 14
Mapping til dark. Tired and sleepy.

Orienteering 2:30:00 [1]

Would you believe it, more mapping. Pretty much finished the dunes and other new parts of the map now. That only leaves a quick pass through the forest to update the existing map, which is rather over-mapped in the flat blocks.
