| Nice to go out orienteering, or indeed running for the first time in quite a while. My orienteering was pretty shoddy, which I shall blame on my lack of thumb compass, and my running very pleasantly paced.
Overall my time was very slow, but I was amused at some of the places my dicey bearings took me. |

| This was just a lovely day for a nice ride, so the usual slackers wasted the entire afternoon doing figure eights on the port hills. Good hard climb up Gebbies, and another up the basdrat. Then another hard effort up Evans, and finally back to the kiwi. |

| Up Dyers, down and around to Gebbies, up to summit road and along to Mt Pleasant, then down and home via Chris and Em's. The ride was going to be longer but we ended up waiting so long we just came home instead. The ride was nice and cruisy apart from up to Coopers Knob and the little hill by Rapaki on the way home. |

| Usual long bays tuesday ride. Cris was horribly late, causing us to spend the whole time chasing the bunch. We took a slight shortcut along the main road instead of the Old Tai-Tapu road. Of course, this allowed us to pass the bunch without realising, and we continued chasing them all the way to Gebbies.
Legs were feeling all very tired and weak, so it was just a matter of surviving the rest of the ride. |

| A nice long cruisy ride with Greig, Chris, Em, and Neroli. I became a little impatient, and started early and climbed to the kiwi alone, not realising just how late these slackers can be. Cruised back down and met them just above the Cup. Pretty easy ride from there, if you were able to ignore all the whinging about the cold that was going on. |
