Sunday Feb 14 #

11 AM

Running 1:32:12 intensity: (19:48 @1) + (58:38 @2) + (13:22 @3) + (24 @4) 17.77 km (5:11 / km) +195m 4:55 / km
ahr:137 max:165

On the canal to just beyond Hebden but it was still a bit snowy and icy so turned round and made up the miles on the cycle path. Legs feeling ok, they got a bit tired of the flat hard ground but then felt good back up the track. Nervous of both the achilles and shins but seem to have survived ok, kept today slightly shorter to try and stay safe.

Saturday Feb 13 #

12 PM

Running 1:13:47 intensity: (33:55 @1) + (36:42 @2) + (3:10 @3) 13.33 km (5:32 / km) +250m 5:04 / km
ahr:131 max:154

Started with dad up Hardcastle Crags then ran home after, which was a tad longer than expected, wanted more 60-65ish. Everywhere frozen solid too, which just makes you feel like you're getting injured. Everything felt ok, but still slightly nervous times.

Friday Feb 12 #

10 AM

Running 1:15:10 intensity: (13:52 @1) + (48:49 @2) + (10:01 @3) + (2:28 @4) 15.15 km (4:58 / km) +146m 4:44 / km
ahr:140 max:169

Canal miles, mostly clear of snow and ice, a few stretches left but nothing too bad. Felt good and rolled along nicely at around 4:40s, enjoying the sunshine. Legs definitely feeling more comfortable with longer flat runs than they used to.

Noticing gains on the press ups but that's about it.

Cycling 2:09:33 intensity: (31:44 @1) + (59:42 @2) + (38:07 @3)
ahr:138 max:164

49.4k, +870m, 22.9kph

Nice sunny day meant the the roads were fairly dry even though it was still somewhere around 0°. Got up to Blackstone Edge feeling nice and warm so carried on down to Littleborough. Cheeky out and back climb of Allescholes Rd, then up round Lumbutts and Mankinholes before a not so enjoyable grind back along the main road.

Wednesday Feb 10 #

Running 58:48 intensity: (30:17 @1) + (24:58 @2) + (3:33 @3) 9.17 km (6:25 / km) +283m 5:33 / km
ahr:130 max:155

On the tops in the sunshine. About -4 so everything frozen but mostly still just a thin bit of fairly dry grippy snow. Very much enjoyed and achilles seems fine.

Tuesday Feb 9 #

9 AM

Running 1:06:11 intensity: (22:38 @1) + (35:55 @2) + (7:38 @3) 12.93 km (5:07 / km) +117m 4:54 / km
ahr:133 max:161

Below freezing but only a thin bit of snow, not ideal but not horrendous, canal still had a little bit of grip.

Monday Feb 8 #

8 AM

Running 45:31 intensity: (15:33 @1) + (28:00 @2) + (1:58 @3) 8.39 km (5:26 / km) +97m 5:08 / km
ahr:132 max:153

Dusting of snow but quite dry and not too slippy. Did a few laps of the cricket pitch, the soft dry grass felt incredibly nice, probably the best patch of grass for miles.
