Various bits of me feeling a little sub optimal so bailed on a session. Both hip flexors in particular were incredibly tight for some reason when I woke up. Once I got into it a bit though I was clipping along at 4:30s-40s feeling reasonably good. R hammy and L calf tightening up a little towards the end but overall just happy to be able to do this.

EUOC core. Hip flexors still super tight despite some stretching and rolling, and stiff neck (bit of whiplash probably) was annoying on the core.
Quite a nice morning, started off up the Heptonberg and then down by Cross Stone to Tod. Then up the main road climb towards Bacup before a little out and back up towards Gorpley Res. Then as I came back down to cross back over the main road, I wasn't quite as careful as I should've been and misjudged the speed of a van. We sort of both moved the same way trying to avoid each other and I got clipped by the wing mirror. Bruised R arm/wrist/hand/glute and a bent handlebar but nothing more major. Lucky to be alive really as he was going quite fast. Some nice people came over to see if I was ok but after 10mins sitting down collecting myself I cycled home. Felt ok too so went back up Cross Stone and down Heptonstall.

Legs not feeling great, shins, calves and hamstrings all telling me they'd rather not do a session, so I listened. Did do 3 x 1min basically long strides to try and loosen out a bit but didn't really change things.
