Another solid long run with some steady bits, also went up the Horsehold road climb rather than the zig zags. Legs feeling very average, tired and stiff after the run back along the canal, but again improved with the tempo effort up the track to finish.

Windy one, with a bit of hail too. Checked out a new path round the bottom of Callis woods but it was a bit steep and slippy and slow. Felt a bit tired but improved.

Canal mileage, started off in heavy sleet and rain but it did brighten up a bit in the 2nd half. Legs actually felt solid enough, but I do always feel twice as likely to get injured when it's grim weather. Just me? Probably.

Easy on the moors, which have returned to full boggy winter conditions overnight. Very much sub-optimal conditions for the achilles with lots of slipping and sliding, plus a fair amount of being submerged in cold water, but it seems to have survived pretty well.

Legs felt decent and next few days look like grim weather so got the session done today. Moving quite nicely but legs getting tired towards the end, just not used to the pounding on hard-ish surfaces. Did 2 strides after which felt like hard work.

Again, making the most of the decent weather, hopefully get another cycle in this week but not sure when, might have to be turbo. Also distance and pace are both a little low (same with sunday) since I didn't bother logging the 1k descent down the track at the start.

Got a lift down the hill with Dad and ran the first k together but his knee was playing up so he turned back. Felt quite decent actually, quads tired but otherwise legs fine.
