Jog from Lamlash with Felix, Fruitcake and Eddie. All nursing quads and various other ailments. Spent all day lounging in the sun watching SIPR boats come in and doing kit checks etc

Gave myself a half an hour headstart on the goatfell race and jogged up. Eddie caught me about 1min before the top which was perfect. Had Finlay's GoPro so tried to get some vidz but may have ended up getting a 300 photo timelapse instead, who knows. Hot and sunny, absolute belter of a day. But also meant there were so many glasgow whoppers up the hill too haha. Bit awkward getting cheered on and having to tell people I wasn't racing.

Meadows runch with Eddie, Tom, Finlay, Jamie and Ellie, really top notch summer meadows vibes and good chat. Usual tales from the corporate world and Eddie using a 9 iron to fix his car. Also hadn't spoken to him about WC selections since they got announced so we did that. I share his view, and not just because he bought me a san pellegrino from sainsbury's after. Looking forward to what should be a fun weekend too!

At riccarton for about 5 hours, mostly map updates (to put it kindly), then also this little bit of test running. Probably the first time in a long time I've moved at sub 3s on two consecutive days!

Some KOS test running, no idea on the stats but did about 20 efforts of about 15 - 60s. Basically non-stop WOC stuff from 8am til midnight today, but only 11 hours in the timesheet because any more and I feel guilty about bankrupting WOC. Plus test running in the sunshine is such good fun it doesn't really count.
