Missed the first k of the wu haha but eoin made it long for some reason so still got like 3k. Leg very sore when walking and jogging especially on tarmac but kinda just blocked out the pain for the reps.
Legs felt much better than last month but was like consistently 10 seconds slower which is sad and we had a faster loop today aswell oh well
Did manage to stay just behind Ali and just in front of emily which im happy about seeing as their 5k times are like a minute quicker

Learnie
Messe up the times but jamie and aidan stayed for some more laps which was good of them. And they showed me the new trail which made it easier following jamie. Very wet and muddy but managed to get some speed going
Leg fine cycling apart from the odd pain on a jump, still painful walking

Ord hill and Lundie
Started off well and some good times in lundie considering riding blind but just bonked when I went back to ord hill. Hardly ever take water biking as I never drink it but I definitely should have today.
Bailed out from the cycle home and got dad to pick me up. Annoying thing is when I was messing around on the jump which had to be hit fast my wheel slammed into a tree making my foot junp off the pedal and giving me the worst pedal slap I have had. Two holes in my legs and my socks stained with blood. Can just about walk biking tomorrow is going to be interesting

Poor viz from pretty low down but some really nice paths made it better.
Had a little detour up Dodd
Also probably the only time you will get three hills with about 10m vertical drop between them so highly recommend

The Speyside Way on the gravel bike
Good fun that was just a bit tiring.
Lots of gates and many muddy sections which being clipped in made it feel very much like a cyclocross race.
Some fast tracks which were really nice but there were quite a few horrible bits which were very slow.
Have wanted to do this ever since getting my gravel bike so glad I did it.
Good day topped off with the best chips in Banffshire!
Still not as impressive as mums 170km ride yesterday

Farley slop
Real fun trails, lots of drops in the heather with very muddy landings which then led to a long fast rocky descent.
Did the nee trail again but wasn’t as fun this time was a bit disappointed

Hammy real sore at the start so took pace real easy (5.30s) as it was my second road run of the week, normally what i’d do in a month recently, and didn’t want to overdo anything

Was worth it though pretty good . Bit dodgey cycling blind with all the wet roots but I mostly survived
Also found some really nice steep switchbacks

Càrn glas choire
Nice wee hill near carrbridge
Both me and dad were feeling a bit stiff so took the stalking track nice and steady then went onto some very slide moss and peat hag across the tops. Lovely day for running even though we had no views and got drenched on the descent. Demolished a bag of cranberries and a caramel wafer at the summit as I felt pretty peckish

Ord Hill trails
Decided to go out on the big bike in the hope that the trails had dried off. Were still pretty wet so the roots were pretty sketchy but good fun. Only one hairy moment where I was picking up speed for the stair gap and another biker had stopped at the top and ended up flying into a bramble bush to stop
Trying to get some power in the climbs and on the way home
