I did a cycle
Been a while. 2 months, to be almost exact.
Felt like hard work.
I've lost a lot of strength, generally, not just in my right leg.
Calf struggled a little on out of the saddle climbs, but not as bad as running. Might need to do more on the bike.
Going to be a long road back.

LOOK! A RUN! IT HAPPENED
A short and slow trundle in the rain and mud. Felt good to be out running
A long way to go though. Right lower lefg lacking the pushoff power and stability.
I felt it woke up a little during the run, but it was hesitant and unstable and not firing fully.
This is going to take time.

Been given the go ahead to start running again. Been doing all my exercises, walking in snow lots and doing yoga as well.
Got to take it gently to start with, and watch for muscle/ligament fatigue in the RHS back/glutes/calf. So no hill reps then.
A massive weight off my mind (and Karen is hugely relieved )

Exercising restraint
Wanted to just keep walking and walking. But work.
Trying to use right calf, but something is missing.
Felt some oddness - either muscles trying to fire, or just loose muscles flapping around, because they are wasting away. :(
