Grouse Grind race - good!

Paced it well and overtook people throughout, incl 4th place a few hundered metres from the top which was nice. Happy with climbing progress over the last few months, much better than it used to be.

Another long run 4-5 hours target

Felt good running out and on the first long climb. Started to feel a bit tired toward the high point (1900m). Then went down and had to go up again and felt pretty ruined then as well. Took a few gels and clif bar again. Perhaps yesterday catching up with me. Pretty steady until the end especially on the descent.

Shocking wet weather with low cloud but did lift during the run.

Long steady run 4-5 hours target

Had been feeling a bit ropey on the bus up to Whistler, so decided to pick an easier route out and just see how i got on.

Ended up feeling fine so went a bit further. Felt good on the climb out and took the descent back fairly easy. Big section of flatter running to finish which the plantar didnt really enjoy but otherwise all good.

Good trail race near Vancouver. Pretty shallow field so was at the front fairly early on and just stayed there, didnt bother pushing too hard in the second half but also wanted to get some faster kms done. Legs felt fine but stomach a bit ropey after a massive burrito the night before!
