A long day walking around London but decided to spend the afternoon at least getting in a 5km walk.

First parkrun in 11 months and it hurt! A lot. Was aiming for sub 5 min/km pace and managed to get close to 24 minutes so was very happy. Pushed myself despite the lack of fitness still and the final 200m I didn't push myself as hard as I wanted. Focus at the moment is on fitness and not the nav.

Back to the physio today. Walking was quite painful, the worst it has been in months. Physio keeps demanding I need to stop running to let it heal... An ultrasound at the physio and more icing tonight. Managed time to watch the live WOC tracking today. The AU team had another brilliant day and wish I was over there too.

Had a good run despite the hills. I left 2 controls for the end of I had time, ticked them off and had about 6 minutes left. Decided to really push hard and grab 2 other controls. Managed to grab them both with 2 mins left. Really happy with how hard I pushed but the damage to the tendon was quite bad as it hadn't recovered from the weekend. Home to ice it again.

Rest day after a tough urban run on Sunday. Spent the evening stretching the tendon in my legs which have been causing me grief for months now.
