Easy along a flat - ish road section for 4 miles then I upped the effort a bit for the last mile or so to test the ankle a bit more..with a gentle hill at the end. Didn't feel the ankle at all during the 4 mile easy, but I could start to feel the beginnings of it as I increased the effort, it went away after about 5min.
Better equipped tonight with some merino Helly Hansen.

Went easy, felt tough as I was suffering with a bit of stiffness from the gym yesterday.

Flat route.

No pain in ankle.

Cold and windy... I desperately need to invest in some cold weather stuff. Wore my ronhill tracksters...

Gym work.

Back squats and some upper body work.

Note

Ankle is healing well. Got more movement, but full range isn't there probably around 80%. Still have stiffness.

I could feel it slightly today when I was doing back squats.

I found using my roclites to be much more stable than the rides I was going to use. I will stick with roclite for the trails for now.

I'll look in to shoes with lower stack heights in the meantime
