Easy along a flat - ish road section for 4 miles then I upped the effort a bit for the last mile or so to test the ankle a bit more..with a gentle hill at the end. Didn't feel the ankle at all during the 4 mile easy, but I could start to feel the beginnings of it as I increased the effort, it went away after about 5min.
Better equipped tonight with some merino Helly Hansen.
